Caesars Entertainment resorts staying ahead with digital innovations

Caesars Entertainment is the first in Las Vegas to have a true omni-channel check-in experience where guests may use a combination of email, web, text, app and kiosk to check in. Always striving to stay ahead of future trends in the hospitality industry Caesars Entertainment rolled out new self check-in kiosks at its Las Vegas resorts-the first fully-integrated self check-in program in Las Vegas that incorporated email, text, web, mobile app and kiosks, completely reinventing the way guests arrive and begin their stay. The new service offers the flexibility and easy access needed to personalize the hotel experience for all guests.

Visitors to Las Vegas often cite wait times as one of the most frustrating aspects of their trip; with long lines at the front desk the most inconvenient as they stand in the way of the guests beginning their trip, whether they are here for work or for pleasure. Caesars Entertainment’s rollout of its new kiosk program is the latest stage in a technology solution to completely automate the check-in process, eliminating wait times and allowing customers to start enjoying all Las Vegas has to offer even faster. Upon arrival, guests can now proceed immediately to the check-in kiosk to begin their check-in process, verifying their IDs and taking payment information right at the machine and either receive a printed key if their room is ready, or if it is not set up, receive an alert to return when their room becomes available.

The launch of self check-in now joins the ranks of already successful innovation for its resorts such as eKey keyless entry at The Cromwell. Upscale boutique hotel The Cromwell Las Vegas eliminated the need for hotel keys altogether. With eKey, The Cromwell’s guests access both their rooms and the hotel elevators right from their iPhone or other iOS device. Guests who opt-in receives a link to download the Cromwell eKey app from the Apple Store, along with a special access code tied to their iOS device and reservation. The eKey system is totally secure, with access to eKeys requiring the user’s unique security PIN.
